It was a bit of an epic struggle to get here, actually. See...we were in Berlin before this and we had reserved 3 tickets from Berlin to Barcelona via Paris and a small town called Perpignion or something like that. We get to Paris and they say that the train from Paris to Perpignion is full. There´s no way we´re getting to Barcelona tonight. So the next morning at 6am they put us on a train to Montpellier...another small town that borders Spain. We get there and they say there´s a freaking TRAIN STRIKE and there are no French trains leaving the country today. Sorry. So we get stuck in this dinky...albeit beautiful French town for a day and a half. The next day at 10pm at night we finally make it to Barcelona.

It was so worth it though. We spent all of yesterday sun tanning on the beach. In NOVEMBER! We got 5 euro massages and went swimming and played with our poi and devil sticks and took sexy beach pictures. Much fun was had. It´s amazing...it feels like summer here.

Going to Rome tomorrow night via Milano. Ha! I feel like a billionare...yes I´m just going to head over to Rome via Milano after being in Barcelona for a short romp. Yes...I will have another expensive glass of Merlot, thank you, Jeeves. *grin*

Maybe I´ll update again later. Maybe. ;) I´ll try my best. It´s hard to get to a computer these days, though.
Katie

Who knows what day this is. Thirty-six days until I see Wes again...that's all I care about right now o.O Not that I don't miss all of you equally. I do. I just miss him the most at this moment. Anyway, mom told me to update my blog. But I think it takes waaaay to long. I'll try to be speedy gonzales:

Went to Copenhagen. It was amazing. Best city ever. Jess and I absolutely adored it. Saw a Lars Brygmann movie while we were there. In Danish. We didn't really get the dialogue but we're smart gals and more or less understood the plot. Lars was awesome in it.

Went to this hippy ghetto-town. Interesting things happened.

Got really good at pool. We're pool sharks.

Oh, Carolyn is in France right now. Because she didn't want to come party with us in Amsterdam.

Which is where we are right now. Much fun has been had. Except we've kind of been lazing about all day. Whatever. We deserve a break.

Oh yeah, got the back of our necks pierced in Denmark. Matching piercings. Because we're awesome.

Coffee shops here are interesting. Not going into anymore detail on that one.

We went on a search for apple pie today. Found this computer instead. The search continues.

Happy, mom? :P

HEART! No, I'm not in Scotland anymore. I'm actually in Vienna now. Yeah, I've moved on to Austria and we were in Dublin and Paris before this. Interesting things that have happened in the last little while:

...Drank Guiness in Dublin but it was a bit of a hole, not much to do
...Everyone is drunk in Ireland all the time. This is the conclusion we've come to.
...Took a plane from Dublin to Paris because it was cheaper than taking a ferry and only an hour and a half instead of 17. Flew Ryan Air. Very cheap. Very crappy.
...Slept on the floor of my mothers hotel room in Paris very uncomfortable. But that's what you get when you suck at planning.
...Saw the Eiffel Tower. Absolutely amazing.
...Saw the Louvre. Mona Lisa has crazy security on it.
...Drank espresso and lots of pastries
...Saw the Moulin Rouge and sang a lot
...Mastered the french language
...Took a 14hour train to Austria
...Jess and I stole a compartment in first class and fell asleep. Were woken up by angry men speaking german. They hit us. o.O To wake us up I mean. Turned out to be passport officers.
...Got some money stolen on the train. It sucked. Austrians suck.
...German is difficult. Thank god people speak english here.

That's about it. I'll try to update more later.

Parting is such sweet sorrow...

Hm, haven't updated the ol' blog in a while 0.o

Well, I don't really feel like updating right now. And I thought I could just update with some pictures but they lock the computer boxes up at this hostel. Grumble.

Left mom and Al today. They went to Paris in the morning. Caro and Jess and I are now in Edinburgh. It's a pretty kick ass little-big town, actually! We were so used to London that we didn't expect Scotland to be this cool. XD

The train took a heck of a long time, though. SIX hours. Gah. Sigh, I still 1/2 hour of internet time and I'm bored of it already.

We found a "mountain" today. Wanted to climb it, but it's dark.

Bah. I can't do it. I'll update tomorrow. ^_~

Gah I have to update more

I'm really tired so some of this is going to be in point form.

DAY TWELVE

Chilled in Bath with Caro

Didn't really do much

Saw cows in a field overlooking Bath. We were very amused.

DAY THIRTEEN

Again, we were hanging out in Bath.

Saw the Roman Baths. Not quite as impressive as I would have thought initially. Definetely interesting. But we got through them really quick.

Got high tea at a place called Sally Lunn's. Apparently it's the oldest tea house in Bath or England or something to that extent.

My memory sucks. We did other stuff too.

DAY FOURTEEN

Caro and I wanted to go to Stonehendge today but apparently buses don't run out there very often, if at all, on sundays.

Truthfully we were kind of relieved because we both really wanted to get back into London.

Took the train back to London. We headed down to our hostel which was fan-cy! It's London's newest hostel and it's got high tech key cards and automatic doors.

Then we went to Primark (very cheap clothing store). and bought lots of clothes. Got Wes a dirty present. :D And I found the Fantomas album I was looking for! The epic quest is over!

Found a Banksy! It said "One Nation Under CCTV" with a little girl painting it and a cop watching her.

Stayed up late to wait for Jess to get in from Brighton.

Went to bed at around 3am.

DAY FIFTEEN

Ha! Yesterday was rather amusing to say the least.

Met mom and Al and went to the flat. We were all stoked to see them.

Walked around a bit by Trafalgar Square because we couldn't go to the flat until 2pm.

Flat is very nice. It's not extremely big or anything but it's good enough for us.

Okay I want to get to the good part. So Jess and Caro and I decide to go out for drinks because we finally have somewhere to dump our bags and it's just convenient (I can't spell). So we go to this bar and get fucking SMASHED. We ordered TWO six shooters. That's 12 shots. We drank those in the first 8 minutes.

Suffice to say Jess experienced a new level of drunkness.

I thought I was going to die and thought about playing California by Mr. Bungle (the album I'm going to play when I know I'm about to die).

BAD hangover the next day.

OH YEAH! I almost forgot. Jess cut my hair with sewing scissors (I have bangs!) and we dyed it dark brown. And I bleached her hair. And we dressed Caro up extremely hot like.

DAY SIXTEEN

Went to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant today. Jess and I were not doing so well but we managed it. We mentioned that we were fans of Gordon's and they gave us a tour of the kitchen.

Ha! But in the morning Jess and I were still a little drunk so we had a good time laughing about the night before. Caro and Mom (who sort of cleaned up after us/took care of us) were certainly not laughing. Actually, that's not true. They were laughing a lot.

Saw Sam Roberts in concert! He was playing at some random club in a random part of town. It was kick ass! Of course, Al didn't have the best directions. So we got a bit lost.

Meh, tired now. More details (and possibly pictures!) later. ^_~

Bah. Haven't updated in a while...

DAY NINE

Stratford! Which can only mean one thing...Hamlet! Yes, this is the only thing we did in Stratford. No, we don't regret it. I'm pretty sick of small towns in the UK at this point. And besides, all three of us were too excited about the play to really care about anything else.

Went to the stage door before the show started to see if Patrick Stewart or David Tenant would sign anything but a woman came out and said only David Tennant would come out and only after the show and only for five minutes. So we all sighed and left for a bit until it was closer to show time. A pitcher of Pimm's later we get back to the theatre to see it.

Gah! It was amazing. I can't tell you how awesome it was to see David Tennant and Patrick Stewart on stage together. They were both epic. The whole thing was epic. It was just amazing. I'm so good with the details, no? Haha...it was very good.

Afterward we ran back to the stage door but a grumpy old man came out and said that Mr. Stewart and Mr. Tennant had left already. And we were all very sad. Especially all the British fangirls who were only there to see David Tennant. Patrick Stewart is more amazing. I don't know why there were no British fangirls for him. :O Anyroad, we left them sticky notes on the door, telling them how much we love them.

DAY TEN

Took the train from Stratford to Cardiff today. It was a pretty long train because we had to go from Stratford to Birmingham and then Birmingham to Cardiff. It took about 3 hours and that day we didn't leave until later than usual. We didn't even get into Cardiff until around 200pm.

When we got in we immediately tried to find the Millenium Centre where they film Torchwood and Doctor Who. We walked by the Millenium Plaza and Millenium Stadium because we figured the Millenium Centre would be close by. No dice.

Then we decided to go back to the train station and ask them where the hostel is but the information booth was closed! So, we asked someone at the ticket booth and she said we needed to take a bus but she didn't know which one. Then it was an epic quest for this elusive hostel starting with a hunt for the right bus, involving awful cranky bus drivers, and ending with us walking most of the way to this stupid YHA hostel.

After quite an exhausting search we finally found it. We stayed in a 12 bedroom dorm that night. Not so bad, really. Everyone was fairly quiet.

After we got settled in we went back down to the city centre to find the Millenium Centre. We are determined. You gotta give us that. Bit of a walk to get there as it's actually by Cardiff Bay not the city centre. Lots of pictures ensued. The Millenium Centre looks rather impressive at night too:

http://www.cardiffbayholidays.co.uk/images/800px-Wales_Millennium_Centre.jpg

Had quite an awesome discussion while eating dinner with Caro about who is more of a musical genius: Mike Patton or Beethoven? We weren't really talking about that so much as how we would fairly determine how to answer that question. We had a whole scenario where we would get three guys and three girls who either liked both kinds of music or didn't like either and they would have to do a series of surveys and we would present our cases for each. It was all very awesome. Now we really want to do it. We asked Alex, Jess, and Wes. So far it's 1 for Beethoven, 1 for Patton, and 1 for David Usher. ^_^

DAY ELEVEN

Caro and I had to switch hostels that day because the YHA one we were staying in was booked up for the night so we headed down to our new one in the morning. Thankfully, it's very close to the city centre so no more awful bus drivers. Dropped off our bags and then headed to Cardiff Castle.

It's pretty awesome. It's this huuge castle right in the middle of the city. I'm talking like...right in the city centre. We did a little audio tour of it and took pictures of us attacking the keep and stuff.

http://www.lindsayfincher.com/gallery/d/9885-1/cardiff_castle_4.jpg

That's a picture of the keep. Not the whole castle. There's actually a huge wall surrounding that. The keep was the best part though. ^_^

Jess called and said she was in Cardiff too, staying at the same hostel even! Total coincidence. We're just awesome like that. Shopped a bit with her and Caro. Went to Spinner's Records which is the oldest record shop in the world. Got some awesome Melvins cds.

Headed down to the Millenium Centre again because Jess hadn't been. Found a Doctor Who exhibit. It was awesome.

DAY TWELVE

In Bath right now. Caro and I walked up a fucking huge hill to get to our hostel. And now we're being lazy. More later when my fingers don't hurt from typing. ^_~

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://crewinvasion.blogspot.com/2008/09/bah-havent-updated-in-while.html' title='Bah. It was the very start of our Britrail pass which let's us travel all around Britain by rail for the amount of time on the pass. We each got a 22 day pass so we have quite a bit of time to juice it for all it's worth.

We got up at 530am yesterday to try and catch the 645am train from London-Paddington to Oxford but when we got to the Tube it didn't open until 710am. So, we decided to just hang out until it opened and catch a later train. But when it finally did open we didn't get a train until 725am! o.O

Anyway, we finally caught a train from London-Paddington at 830am and arrived around 1130 or so. Oxford was very nice. It's quite small but that was good because we only had one day to look around. We basically walked the length of it 3 or 4 times. Didn't really do much particularly exciting. Just sort of wondered and hung out.

But I found out that STEPHEN FRY is doing a book signing in London on October 4th and Alex is going to be here too and we have to go. It's not even a question.

We had dinner at a small pub called the Turf Tavern...built in the 16th century! It was delicious. I had a chicken and mushroom pie with peas and chips and gravy oh and a pint. It was overly delicious. Mmmm.

DAY EIGHT

Got into Cambridge today. Had to go all the way back to London from Oxford and then go from London-Paddington to London-King's Cross. The Tube was a bit busy so that was a little difficult but we JUST made it.

Not feeling Cambridge so much. And felt a little lonely today. Maybe it's cause Jess isn't here. I miss Jess. Well, seeing her tomorrow when we go to see Hamlet at Stratford-Upon-Avon. With PATRICK STEWART AND DAVID TENANT!OH MY GOD.

Missing Rochellee and Wesley a lot today. :( Also Alex but she's going to be here in a few days.

And Wesley called me which made me feel much better.

GUYS! I want to know what's going on at home! E-mail me with any awesome news. I'll even settle for mundane news at this point.

Over and out!
Katie

You are my religion

DAY SIX

Hm, bit of a lazy day today. Carolyn still has a bit of a cold and Jess is still getting over hers. Carolyn and I did our laundry this morning and packed our bags a bit better in preparation for our week travelin' around the English countryside. Well...if you count Cardiff and Oxford as the countryside.

We finally got ourselves up and decided to go check out St. Paul's Cathedral. It was rather amazing. It's crazy thinking about how the guy who planned out that cathedral probably didn't even live long enough to see it finished. The architecture is amazing. Just stunning. They do have these rather enclosed stone hallways and rickety spiral stairs that you can see through. Caro wasn't doing so well with the stairs and I didn't do to well with the enclosed spaces but we made it all the way up to the very top gallery. We also stayed for the service as well which is something I haven't done in quite a long time. It makes me a little bit uncomfortable seeing as I'm not christian...at all. But Jess and Caro really wanted to stay so I suffered through. :D

Then we walked across the Millenium Bridge and took lots of pictures.

We found this little Indian restaurant by our hostel that was pretty nice. I had Tandoori Chicken...it was delicious.

I gotta go to bed soon because Caro and I have to catch a train to Oxford very early tomorrow morning. I think we need to get up around 5am or so. o.O

Anyroad, not sure when I'll have access to the internet again. Maybe tomorrow...maybe a week. But if you want to drop me an e-mail I'd love to hear how things are going at home/with you! ^_^ katie.gingera@gmail.com

~Katie

DAY FOUR

Yesterday, the girls and I checked into the Generator. The Generator is basically THE party hostel in London. It's not in a bad part of town or anything and it's only three blocks away from one of the tube stations so it was fairly easy to find. We were a bit early for check-in (which was at 2pm) so we dumped our bags and headed down to Oxford Street to find some cd stores. Stopped at HMV. Bought some Faith No More (Mike Patton = love) and some Melvins. Got some gross chinese food for lunch.

Jess and I had bought a cheap bottle of wine a few days ago because it was only £4 and I was fairly tired of lugging it around so we decided to just drink the whole thing at the hostel. Which smelled pretty gross, by the way. The hostel not the wine. Anyroad...so that was at 5pm or so and we didn't stop drinking until 11pm or so.

It was the day before my birthday! What can I say?

Went down to the Generator bar after we finished off the bottle. That was around 6pm so there was no one there. But Smirnoff Ice was only £1.30 so we had to have two each. And we got a pint for £1 with dinner. The gay Bartender/DJ, Nathan, kept signing us up for all these games. Which we epically failed at. But he kept giving us free alcohol anyway. We loved Nathan.

We even did karoke. It was....awful. But fun!

And then we had to stay up until midnight to say happy birthday to me!! XD

DAY FIVE

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

We got up at 10am today. Check-out time is at 10am. Suffice to say it was a bit of a frantic morning. But we had basically finished packing last night and fell asleep in our clothes so it was fairly easy. Still...rather slow day. Couldn't decide where to stop for lunch so we just went to Subway.

Hung out at Regent Park and had a bit of a photoshoot. Haha...we are tres sexy.

Took a double decker bus just for the fun of it.

Carolyn's getting a cold :( She looks rather morose about it.

Hmm...that's about it.

London Day 3!

Day One

Yay! This is the first actual post from our trip! Well, we've only been here for three days and there's lots to update about so bear with me.

Guess I should start with the plane ride. It was looong and tedious. First of all, our flight was cancelled 13 hours before we were supposed to leave. We were supposed to stop in Houston before going from there straight to London. But hurricane Ike made that quite impossible. We got to the airport in Vancouver at about 530am to try and figure out what new flight we were going to get. We were fairly determined to leave on that day so we were willing to take pretty much anything. We got a flight that was stopping in LA for a few hours and that left at 1245pm Vancouver time.

The first flight was not bad. It was only 3 hours and we were all fairly awake and geared up to go and in a fairly good mood. When we got into LAX we went all the way to the other side of the airport because we thought we were taking a Continental flight but we were really supposed to be on a Virgin Atlantic one so we had to go allll the way back to the other side of the airport again and check-in. We cut it pretty close for boarding and we were all fairly tired and annoyed at this point.

The flight was pretty posh. There were 8 seats in a row. Two on either side and then four in the middle. We also got these cool little gift bag things from Virgin Atlantic, which contained a pen, a toothbrush, a little toothpaste, a pair of socks, and one of those sleep mask things. There was also TVs in the back of the seats with quite a number of movies, TV shows, and music to listen to.

When we got into London we basically just went to the hostel and hung out until 7pm when we passed out. Didn't wake up until 8am the next day. XD

Day Two

Day two was quite a bit more interesting than day one. We decided to head down to the Soho area (around Piccadilly Tube Station) which was pretty awesome. There was lots of theatre-ee buildings. It was the shinyest part of London I've seen so far. Which is a little bit misleading because Lodon isn't shiny at all. It's really old and full of history and sort of feels like you're walking through a museum. But soho has lots of shops and neon lights and casinos and things. Quite the interesting contradiction.

We stopped in to the National Portrait Gallery for a bit. It's free like most other museums and galleries in London. So we were game for that. It was pretty surreal to see all those paintings done so many hundreds of years ago. But we got bored of it pretty quick. And we didn't get to see the one of Daniel Radcliffe because you had to pay to see it. Lame.

Then we went to Trafalgar Square which was awesome! They have these four big lions that you're allowed to climb on. They're rather difficult to get on top of though. Jess and I took that as a challenge. Haha...we made it up there eventually. Many pictures were taken to prove our conquering. :D

We then decided to head down to the Library by King's Cross station. YES! We did run at platform 9 and 3/4. MANY TIMES. And it was fun. Don't judge me.

The library was cooler than I thought. They had a little exhibit with 1 of the 3 surviving Magna Cartas. Also original Beatles lyrics, a Gutenberg Bible, Beethoven's original notebook, and Shakespeares signature! I was pretty stoked about all of that. XD

Then we went to Copenhagen Street. Just because it was/is called Copenhagen Street. It was worth it.

We grabbed some grub and a pint at a Irish Pub near our hostel. Guiness tastes different here. :/ Still good, but different.

Jess and I went for a walk afterward. Sat beside a cemetery. Called Wesley, made me a little sad. Walked some more. Found a park, chatted in the park, found some foxes, chased the foxes. Talked about beating people up. Got a wee bit lost. Found our way back. Fell asleep.

Day Three

Well today has been fairly uneventful. Was going to go to Buckingham Palace with Jess and Caro but was feeling awful. AWFUL! I had to go back to the hostel and lie down until 5pm (now). I feel better now, though. Maybe I'll write an e-mail to Wesley. Because I miss him. A lot. :(

Sorry this entry is so point-form like and rather non-cohesive and grammatically inncorrect (not to mention my awful spelling). Wanted to update you guys but didn't really feel like typing. XD

Until next time!
KATIE

Two months later...

I am so bad at this. I should just resolve to update every two weeks or something. Pfft, like that's going to happen.

We bought our plane tickets! We're leaving Vancouver, BC on September 14, 2008 and we'll be arriving about midday on the 15th in London, England! We bought our tickets through Zoom Airlines because they were the cheapest ones we could find. They're also non-stop from here to London. On the one hand it's kind of nice because that means we get there faster. On the other hand it sucks for little ol' claustrophobic me because that means I have to stay in there for 9 hours and 35 minutes. Not looking forward to that part so much.

I purchased my Eurail pass a while back. Got it in the mail about 3 weeks ago. Now I have the ability to travel pretty much anywhere in Europe, for free! Ha, except that the pass cost me 1,117$. Still...it's gonna feel like its' free.

Lately I have had lots of trouble putting money into my savings account. Hopefully I can remedy that soon. My new job should help. I'm now stocking groceries at a big corporate shithole grocery store. Wow, that was a little harsh...but true. It sucks quite a bit. But I could really use the extra income.

Hm, Caro said she made a list of things to do before Europe and that it was rather frightening. Perhaps I should make a list as well?

List of Things to do Before Europe!

Buy one pair of travellin' shoes and one pair of flats

Buy several new pairs of pants

Buy some packing cubes or similar devices

Buy Britrail Pass

Look into a ferry to Dublin

Look into flights from Dublin to Paris

Talk to Dad about getting a camera

Get meningitis shot

Talk to Doctor about drugs for the plane ride

Buy a waterproof jacket

Buy a moneybelt

Book hostel(s) for first week in London and last week in London

Reserve a table for 4 at Gordon Ramsay

Purchase a Europe phrasebook

Look into and purchase a transformer/adapter/whatever plug for electronic devices

Look into buying or renting a global cell phone

Make copies of all ID

Make a comprehensive list of things to bring

PUT MONEY IN SAVINGS

I'm sure there is other stuff to put on the list, but for now that'll be good. Next post maybe I'll make a list of just things I need to buy. That'll be the scary one for me. Since, I'm BROKE! :(

And then there were three

Hmm, haven't updated in quite some time now. Seems like I only remember to do it when something big happens. Suffice to say, something big has happened. Rochellee has decided not to go to Europe with us.

She told me she didn't want to go because she wants to focus on moving out. It's really important to her and I respect that. I mean, everyone has to prioritize and Europe is not the kinda thing you do when it's not the most important thing to you. So, I understand. I'm not mad at her or any such nonsense. I do wish she would have told us a little earlier.

It takes a lot to plan a trip like this and when something like this happens it kind of throws everything out of whack. For instance, Carotron and I had planned for the second week to be just me and her. Because that's what the trip was going to be originally. But now that Rochellee isn't going, that puts Jess in a rather unfortunate position. But we're big girls, I'm sure we'll be able to figure it out.

Also, I really need to apply for a credit card soon. I'm not exactly sure why I've been putting it off for so long. Next day that I have off I'm going to get one. IT'S DECIDED.

Haha, still haven't told anybody about this blog.

Until next time something big happens,
Kat Power

More second week hostels booked

So I had a little freak out a couple days ago because when I looked into booking the Cardiff hostel on the day Carotron and I wanted to go they were full. Not one single bed left. I told Caro and we decided to rearrange our trip so that we would have places to stay and such. Haha, always a good thing, a place to stay.

Anyroad, we decided Doctor Who Night was a good time to do that. We booked every single hostel for our second week. If you're curious (which you probably aren't because I still haven't told anyone about this blog), these are the dates:

Oxford 21 Sep 08 - 22 Sep 08
Cambridge 22 Sept 08 - 23 Sep 08
Stratford 23 Sep 08 - 24 Sept 08
Cardiff 24 Sep 08 - 26 Sep 08
Bath 26 Sep 08 - 28 Sep 08

And might I just add that hostels in the UK are a might expensive o.O Plus the britrail pass. Woooeee this is going to be one expensive trip. But hopefully, worth it. ^_^

The First Hostel Booking!

-throws some confetti-

Caro and I booked our first hostel yesterday. We booked the one in Stratford. One night in a private room with a shower and everything. Awesome.Sauce. It was only ten pounds more for the private room and we figure after we go see the play we're going to want some squee room.

Oh yes, I didn't mention. On the 23rd of September Caro and I are going to see Hamlet in Stratford. David Tennant (AKA The Doctor) is playing Hamlet and Patrick Stewart (AKA Jean-Luc Picard) is playing Claudius. It will be amazing and squeetastic.

We also completely planned our second week in which Jess and 'Chellee and Caro and I are going our seperate ways. We'll be booking most of the hostels for that week in the near future.

Just thought I'd keep you updated, even though I haven't told anyone I'm writing this blog. ^_^

~Kat Power

All things have a beginning...

Hello. My name is Katie, as you probably guessed from my profile and such, and I'm going to Europe. Yippee! Mmhmm, just another one of those crazy teenagers going across the pond to find herself and the whole shabang. Couple of my pals are coming along with me. Here we're sort of half-heartedly known as 'The Crew' hence the the name of the blog. Just thought I'd clear that up nice and early. In The Crew we have:

'Chellee - She's the hot one of the group apparently...because she has all these guys fawning over her as of late. I have no idea why myself. Just kidding 'chellee. You're very fine. She's going to marry Jeremy Irons when we get to Europe.

Jess - Tall and outspoken are two fantastic words to describe this one. If she's got an opinion on something you'll know it. Especially if it's something that makes her mad. But she's entirely too precious for this world. She's going to marry Lars Brygmann when we get to Europe.

Caro - A nerdy music student. I know what you're thinking...awful combination. But she works it. She also has an obsessive love for Doctor Who. Actually, we all kinda do. Except 'Chellee. We're working on it. Caro's going to marry James McAvoy when we get to Europe.

Kat Power - I actually don't have a nickname in The Crew so I made up my own. Just now. Clever, right? I'm a nerd. A big ol' loser of a nerd. I read comic books, I ADORE Star Trek, Doctor Who = Love, and physics is the shiznit.

There's also Owlex and Anna (no nickname) but they're not going -insert sad face here-. They're younglings and broke. Actually, Owlex (mah sister) and my mother...we call her Red Menace, are going to meet us in Britain or France or both. We're ironing out the plans.

Anyroad, I suppose that's a good introductory post. I'm sure I'll think of something else to blog about tomorrow. CHEERIO!
